Biological Activities of CBD

Cannabis and hemp are both part of the Cannabis genus, which is composed of a variety of compounds, named cannabinoids that interact with the cannabinoid receptors in the human body, leading to various biological activities. Most cannabinoids are widely known as THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol). However, there are many other compounds in the plants that have potential therapeutic properties.
